Today saw us back on the road to continue our adventures in England.
Our final destination was Tewksbury where we managed to score a van site next to the River Avon at the Avon Hills Caravan Park

Tewkesbury is a town in Gloucestershire, England at the meeting of the rivers Severn and Avon. Historically, Tewkesbury is a market town serving the local area.The town has been a centre for flour milling for many centuries, the older Abbey Mill still stands though it has now been converted for residential use. .

The next morning we walked into the village, admiring the medieval half-timbered Tudor buildings, with overhanging upper storeys and ornately carved doorways.
The town is also dominated by the 12th-century Tewkesbury Abbey, which is said to have the highest Norman tower in England.The Abbey is rich in architecture and artistic heritage.

We spent some time in here and Trish purchased Christmas cards of the Abbey surrounded by snow, a different landscape scene of Christmas than we are use to.
Back on the road the next morning, we reached Wales in the afternoon and arrived in the village of Browlly’s to the Anchorage Caravan Park situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
